Master Class with Meghan Afonkin: Fundamentals of Rhythm

Meghan learned the ins and outs of the business by growing up in the dance studio. Her parents have been in the ballroom dance industry for over 30 years. Meghan began dancing at the age of 6 where she was trained by the top teachers in the world. Her latest achievements have been with her current dance partner and husband, Igor Afonkin. Meghan & Igor are known around the world with their top ranks in the American Smooth division. They currently hold a professional national title.

Meghan has been recognized as a top teacher at numerous ballroom events around the country. Meghan & Igor successful ran an independent dance business in MN for the past four years. Their clients have won national awards and their business has been recognized as the top “small” dance studio in MN for the years; 2018, 2019 & 2020.
